Individualised Maths Support

I am able to provide maths support and extension from Key stage 1-2 (Approximately ages 5-12).  I am an experienced teacher who has worked in both Key stages to help students improve and flourish.

I believe that most Maths problems often stem from a lack of confidence and not knowing where to start. I am able to work in small groups or on an individual level to tailor lessons to meet your child's specific needs to help them grow and achieve. As I have worked previously in learning support and at a SEND-specialised school, I am experienced in working with students who have dyslexia and dyscalculia. I am also able to work with EHCP's to apply any recommendations that need to be applied to a students personal learning plan. 

How will we approach lessons with your student?

To begin with, I will complete a baseline assessment to ascertain your child's areas of strength and areas in need of improvment and provide feedback while planning a comprehensive path forward. I have access to 12 years worth of resources and skills to assist students in their learning journey. I look foward to helping your child succeed!
